at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois with a $7,500 to

line in a "Hell Tour" battle tonight at Fairbury American
Legion Speedway in downtown Fairbury, Illinois. A strong field of
38 entrants poured into FALS and Shannon Babb kicked off the night
by laying down the thirteenth quickest lap in Group B during qualifying.
After finishing fifth in heat race action, Shannon scored a victory
in the B-Main to earn the inside of the ninth row for the start
of the 50-lapper. The Moweaqua, Illinois ace then advanced all the
way up to fourth in the headliner before winding up fifth at the
checkered flag behind only winner Brian Shirley, Frank Heckenast,
Jr., Tanner English, and Bobby Pierce!

from strong storms and more rain expected throughout the day, DIRTcar

but will be rescheduled for Tuesday, June 25.
20, 2019) The "Hell Tour" took
the #18 team to Spoon River Speedway in Banner, Illinois tonight
and 35 competitors piled into the pit area to do battle for the
$5,000 winner's check. Shannon Babb clicked off the fourth fastest
lap in Group A during time trials and later scored a heat race triumph.

will not be rescheduled.
18, 2019) Next up on the DIRTcar Summer Nationals
slate was a visit tonight to Jacksonville Speedway in Jacksonville,
Illinois for the annual 'Wild Man Kelly Classic,' which boasted
a $5,000 top prize. Shannon Babb knocked down the second fastest
lap in his group during qualifying prior to running second in his
heat race. After starting the 40-lap feature event from the inside

settling for a sixth place effort behind only winner Brandon Sheppard,
Bobby Pierce, Brian Shirley, Frank Heckenast, Jr., and Tanner English.
16, 2019) Wet weather continues to plague

No makeup date for the $5,000 to win show was immediately announced
by track or series officials.
15, 2019) With showers and thunderstorms
arriving early in the afternoon and with more storms on the way,

Summer Nationals took place earlier tonight at Kankakee County Speedway
in Kankakee, Illinois. Shannon Babb clicked off the fastest lap
